Serve. Run. Lose. Run again. Win. Serve again. This is the story of Congressman Pat Ryan.
Pat has lived his life in service to community and country. He’s a West Point graduate who deployed for two combat tours as an Army intelligence officer.
As a cadet, Pat learned and lived by the West Point motto: Duty, Honor, Country. In 2018, a decade after leaving the Army, he felt this motto calling him. He wanted to serve again – this time in elected office. New Politics was there for him every step of the way during his run for U.S. Congress – preparing his campaign, supporting him through election day, and staying with him, win or lose.
He lost that race, but he didn’t lose the calling. With New Politics’ guidance, he ran and won the Ulster County Executive race. Three years later, with New Politics continued support, he ran and won a race for the U.S. House of Representatives.
Win or lose. The 2 a.m. call. Building a campaign team. Coaching new staff. Preparing your announcement speech. Whatever it is, we’re all-in for our candidates because they’re all-in for the country.
