We are strengthening democracy as a political talent pipeline by recruiting the next generation of leaders to represent their communities.

Over 100,000 down-ballot races happen every year and nearly 60,000 of them go uncontested. Our democracy depends entirely on the voters' ability to choose their elected officials and for those elected officials to be accountable to their constituents.

The path to political power is full of obstacles, but for people of color, the barriers can often be prohibitive. The journey demands not just talent and resilience, but the breaking down of systemic impediments that have long kept diverse voices on the periphery. Our criminal justice, education, housing, workforce, childcare, and healthcare systems will never achieve their full potential until we are serious about changing who holds and wields power.
