Alicia Washkevich

As Chief Operating Officer, Alicia helps shape and translate New Politics's strategic vision into a sound operational plan. She brings more than 20 years of experience to New Politics, focused on scaling rapidly growing organizations and managing efficient nonprofit operations. Alicia is a proud Navy veteran and most recently served as the Deputy Chief Operating Officer for the Sierra Club. She earned a Master of Science from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor of Science from the United States Naval Academy.
