Rick Piereck

Rick Piereck ran for election to the Calvert County State's Attorney in Maryland. Rick joined the U.S. Army Reserves as a senior in high school and attained the rank of Staff Sergeant prior to leaving to attend law school. Rick worked as a prosecutor in the Calvert County State's Attorney's Office and in the Major Crimes Unit of the Prince George's County State's Attorney's Office. In 2018, he established a private law practice representing clients in civil and criminal matters throughout Maryland. Rick also serves as a Commissioner with the Housing Authority for Calvert County and as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Calvert County Bar Association. He regularly volunteers with several organizations including the Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Association, Calvert Housing Alliance, and Chesapeake Church.
