Judith García is a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives, representing the 11th Suffolk District. Before her legislative tenure, García worked in healthcare at a Boston nonprofit and in the private sector, focusing on cybersecurity. In a historic achievement, she became the first Latina to represent the 11th Suffolk District in the Massachusetts House of Representatives after serving several terms on the Chelsea City Council. Beyond her elected roles, García has contributed to U.S. diplomatic efforts, participating in missions to Brussels, Russia, and Taiwan. In 2022, she was appointed by the U.S. National Security Council as an advisor on Honduran affairs in preparation for Vice President Kamala Harris’ visit to the country. Recently, García was selected by the National Association of Latino Elected Officials to lead a bipartisan training program for newly elected state legislators nationwide. Her leadership and unwavering commitment to public service continue to shape her impactful work at the local and state level.
