Jay Chen is a trustee of St. Anthony's University, a major commander in the U.S. Naval Reserve, and a small business owner.Jay Chen grew up in a family whose parents were Taiwanese immigrants. He graduated from Hacienda Heights public schools and was competitively admitted to Harvard University on a Navy ROTC scholarship. After graduating from Harvard, he worked for a multinational strategic consulting firm, where he had the opportunity to work closely with Fortune 500 software and transportation companies, making important contributions in corporate mergers, product development, and streamlining operations. He then returned to his hometown in Southern California to start his own business and founded his own real estate company.Jie Fei deeply understands the challenges we face in the global economy, so he is committed to public service and improving education, hoping that through his efforts, our children can be like him, get greater growth benefits in a better educational environment, and overcome these challenges.Jay Chen was the chairman of the Hacienda Heights School District Board of Education. During his two terms as a school district board member, he established a number of innovative programs, including immersion courses in Chinese subjects, cooking courses, and SAT tutoring programs. He also used his experience as an admissions interviewer at Harvard University to personally teach and guide students in the school district on what to pay attention to when applying to colleges in order to increase their chances of getting into good universities. Jay Chen has served honorably in the Korean Peninsula and the Middle East. While participating in combat operations in the Middle East, he led a group of intelligence personnel as a major and successfully assisted in fighting the terrorist organization ISIS. Jie Fei also played a very important role in the US military's strategy to prevent and control the new coronavirus in the Middle East.
