Candace Avalos

Candace Avalos, a first-generation "Blacktina" American, brings her multicultural background to her role as a nonprofit executive leader. With expertise in foreign languages and student affairs, Candace spent eight years fostering civic engagement at Portland State University. Her community involvement extends to serving on Portland's Citizen Review Committee and Charter Review Commission.
