Blog: Our growth continues - promotions on our team

Our year of growth is continuing at New Politics as we’re proud to announce the promotion of Brendon Mills as our new Director of Campaigns and Raiyan Syed as our National Political Director! Brendon and Raiyan had previously served as senior campaign advisors and in their new roles will oversee critical strategic functions of the organization as we grow our reach.

As our first Director of Campaigns, Brendon will oversee our campaign and candidate advising work, managing our team of campaign advisors and specialists and our work to win elections up and down the ballot.

As our first National Political Director, Raiyan will oversee New Politics’ candidate recruitment, incumbent protection, and political partnerships, allowing us to effectively build our movement and plan for future election cycles.

Their promotions signal the continuation of our steady growth at New Politics. We are eager to hire a senior campaign advisor to advise our congressional challengers this cycle as well as two campaign advisors to grow our state and local advising. Check out our opportunities page for more information on these roles.
